My name is Margaret Thompson and I am the dean of curriculum and instruction at Clifford International School. This is my sixth year at the school, and my third as dean. I am certified to teach in the province of Ontario, as well as in Manitoba and Alberta. I have a BAH, BEd and MEd from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. My international teaching career has provided me with the opportunity to live and work in a variety of countries, including China, Bahrain, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Thailand. My passion for learning is the force that drives my educational philosophy and practice. I am a strong believer in fostering a growth mindset among learners of all ages. I also consider myself extremely privileged to be a part of the learning journeys of all the students I have worked with throughout my career.
