About Me

My name is Dorian Burt, and this is my fourteenth year working at Clifford.

I am a Manitoba, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan certified teacher with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. I have 27 years of experience in education.

My educational philosophy is based on the premise that learning is voluntary. Not only is the onus on the student to be a critical part of the process, but it is essential that school organizations and physical class spaces provide a place for students to take academic risks in an environment where students feel safe and confident.

Extracurriculars: President of the “Peely the Banana Duck” Fan Club. Practitioner of hermit life. 300+ unplayed games on Steam that require my attention.
