My name is Gohar Jamal and I am an educator from Canada. I obtained my Bachelors in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta. I have been teaching for 4 years and have experience teaching a variety of age ranges — from upper elementary to high school. This year I will be teaching Grade 8 and 9 ELA as well as Grade 7 Drama.
I pursed teaching as a career because I believe that education can open doors for individuals and provide an avenue of success for many people. I personally enjoy teaching English Language Arts because it equips students to be able to properly express themselves and share their thoughts about the world.
